Gutter Casualty

This morning I went in the backyard and noticed that our gutter had detached from the house because of the weight of the ice. Definitely not good. We had noticed that the gutter in the front of the house had bent down a little and thought it would be the first to go.
Since the gutter is on the power line, and we didn't feel like getting electrocuted this year, we called the electric company right away. They are going to come sometime today to remove the gutter. The next step is to have a new gutter put on. Oh the joys of home ownership.
