Our Wedding

Elliott and I met our freshman year of college at the University of Dayton. Elliott's sister Leigh lived two doors down from me and introduced us. Elliott and I were friends for three years before we realized there might be something more to the relationship. We had so much fun together but college couldn't last forever. After graduating Elliott moved to Detroit and then China to work. We still kept in touch despite the distance. Elliott moved back to Detroit after he got back from China, and I was living in Dayton at the time. We would visit each other and we quickly realized that our relationship was the forever kind. We decided to move to Columbus to be closer together. We've been here for two years now and couldn't be happier. This is definitley the best time of our lives and we can't wait to be married. We couldn’t even begin to imagine what life would be like without one another!

The Proposal

The Proposal
Laura's story
I came home from work on Friday and on the front doorstep was a vase of roses. Elliott had put a note on each rose with a reason that he loved me. It was so sweet and romantic. When I opened the door there was a path of votive candles and rose petals leading to the bedroom. When I got to the end, a very nervous Elliott was there with a ring. He got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. I of course said "yes"! It was the most romantic and perfect proposal! It wasn't without excitement though. When Elliott popped the champaigne bottle the cork bounced off the wall and hit him in the face. Definitely a night to remember!
