The carpet was ripped off of the stairs.
And the contractors marked out where the bathroom will be.
They also put the framing on the wall along the stairs. Because they didn't want to make the stairs any narrower they put it right up against the wall. The rest of the framing in the basement is set an inch or so away from the wall to allow the walls to "breathe."
The next day they framed out the bathroom.
They also started digging the hole for the bathroom plumbing.
Pretty different from when we first moved in right?
