So you remember when I said that Elliott attempted to install the ceiling fans himself in this post: In The Dark. Well we finally had the electrician come in today to install the ceiling fans. They look so pretty!
So now instead of this:

Very much improved. Of course everything can't run smooth though. The fan for the master bedroom wouldn't turn on. The light worked and you could hear the motor but the fan wouldn't spin. So our master bedroom still looks like this:
Oh well. We'll have to get a new one and return the old one. What's living without a bedroom light for a little bit longer.
Another thing Chad (the electrician) helped us with was the disposal. Even though Elliott did a great job installing the new disposal we bought there was of course an issue with the electrical (the theme of our house.) There wasn't an outlet under the sink for him to plug it in to. So for a while there were were making due with using an extension cord to plug it in the outlet above the counter. Not pretty.
Chad installed an outlet for the wires down there and it looks so much prettier now! (well except for the gross stain under the sink.)
And that's where we are now!
